Web Usability
We have a strategic partnership with Emerald
Strategies’ Kathy McShea who is one of the leading authorities on
public Web site usability, governance and research.
We use our knowledge of best practices to evaluate a Web site and make
recommendations on the basis of the latest findings on user testing and
research. The research methods include usability evaluations, task analysis,
card sorting exercise and online surveys.
- » U.S. House of Representatives: Evaluated 200+ Congressional web sites for usability, content and disability access by creating a scorecard on 100+ critical criteria providing direction for improvement.
- » Analyzed web trends for house.gov and housenet.gov – US Congressional portal and Intranet.
- » Heuristic Evaluations: Performed heuristic evaluations for US Holocaust Museum, US Council on Competitiveness and Daughters of Charity and foreign government agencies.
- » Task Analysis: Conducted research with typical users from the Council on Competitiveness to determine task time, click stream and page path for searches, purchases and interaction to improve Web site performance.
